We had an awesome time on our annual June family Duck, NC beach trip!
Highlights include: COUSIN TIME!! Charlie and Robert hung out a lot this trip. It was so sweet to see their friendship grow.

We always get Duck Donuts one morning. Robert is a big fan of this tradition. Each morning he would wake up and ask "where are my cousins?" He had a BLAST and they all were so sweet toward him.
Another highlight: INDOOR POOL TIME!! It was rainy about half of our trip but the indoor pool was a huge hit. Robert had so much fun playing with Rob and even jumped in the pool some.

Another highlight: UNCLE WILL!! Robert and Will really bonded this trip. Robert often went looking for Will, which was super sweet.

We had such a fun trip! Both Rob and I were a bit nervous about the sleeping arrangements with the boys but they both did great! Matty saw the ocean for the first time and Robert loved playing in the sand, hanging with his cousins, eating all the tasty "sweet treats" and riding in the back of the van for the "bumpety bumps (speed bumps) on the way to the beach. It was really special to see all of the cousins together. Each of them were so dear with Robert and Matty. They always included Robert and I could tell he felt so loved.
I always leave this week of the beach feeling extra grateful for our traditions and quality time together... and also feeling a bit exhausted but in the best way possible.
Pool side pouch anyone?
