Easter 2022

He has Risen! 

We had a really nice Easter weekend filled with Easter egg hunts, the Easter Bunny visiting, church, friends, and family! 

Robert loved (actually would ask me to put them back on when they fell off) his bunny ears. Our little bunny! 

Tried a new tradition this year... bunny cinnamon rolls! 

Robert's first Easter Egg Hunt and experience with the Easter Bunny. He wasn't too sure about this Easter Bunny character. 

Robert loved his one blue egg! 

We went over to Katie and Chris's for another Easter Egg hunt after church and then headed to my aunt Jane's house in Hopewell for Easter dinner. Robert loved playing in their yard, seeing cousins, and eating mashed potatoes and Bujie's yummy ham.

March 2022 Recap

 Playing a little catch up here... where did our little boy go? 

Robert loves when we read Officer Buckle and Gloria to him. He likes to lean forward and give Glory kisses at the end of the story, it's definitely very sweet!

We still aim to get out on our family walk every day once Rob gets off of work. With the sun and heat kicking up we are trying to get Robert to wear baseball hats. He sometimes leaves them on... sometimes not so much. 

Robert loves playing with Dada! Dada creates the coolest Lego towers to knock down. 

Vroom vroom... one of Robert's favorite toys this month. 

We transitioned Robert to his new convertible car seat and he is quite smitten with it. Before we actually got it set up in the car, Robert would enjoy his afternoon snack in it every day in the living room. He loves it! 

Robert loves cousin time! B & R are always so sweet to love on him and play with him. He thought this shower toy of theirs was really quite funny. 

The dudes 💙

We visited our dear friends Bobby and Holly this month. We managed to get no photos of the four of us however, we did snap a few of Robert loving his new adorable flat brim hat and sunglasses that Bobby and Holly gave him. 

Robert is now officially way cooler than Dada and Mama! Robert was feelin' himself, ha! 

Robert is no longer nursing. It's bittersweet for sure. Robert does very much love his new morning routine however of cheerios and whole milk. 

We had a wonderful St. Patty's Day! No green beer this year for us but we did catch ourselves a very cute leprechaun which was so much more fun!! 

Attempted my first corned beef and cabbage. It was quite tasty! 

Robert turns ONE!!

 Our little man is ONE YEAR OLD! Gosh, where does the time go? Literally, since I am writing this post almost a month late, haha. 

Robert had a wonderful 1st birthday. We celebrated with lots of sugary treats, family time and playing at home. 

CAKE! Robert loved his cake. He was a little more enthusiastic about it on his actual birthday than at his birthday party. He ate it much more delicately at his birthday party. 

We had a small family party for Robert. He enjoyed watching older cousins run around and tried his best to keep up. 

Robert loves reading Goodnight Tractor (sweet gift from the Stratton crew). It's one of his new favorite bed time stories and almost the only one he'll actually sit still the whole way through while Dada reads before bedtime.  

Auntie Ashleigh gave Robert a super cute bucket hat from the San Diego Zoo. Robert's going to be rocking this quite often this summer while at the beach and pool. 

Robert's tongue was out almost the whole birthday party. We weren't quite sure why but it did make us laugh.

Robert is so close to walking! He loves his new walker toy that our sweet neighbor gave him for his birthday. 

Kostan and Quinn couldn't make Robert's birthday party but they came by the day before to wish him a very sweet happy birthday! It's always a fun time catching up with them, Jonathan and Jk. We loved having time with them! 

Charlie, Eleanor, Jane had fun playing in my closet during Robert's birthday party. I loved seeing them in some of my old bridesmaid dresses. Jane is wearing the dress I wore to my rehearsal dinner.  It was very cute!
