The Stratton Scrapbook : Cars, Donuts, Puddles Jan/Feb 2023

Time is moving too fast! I swear my sweet Robert went to sleep a toddler and just this month woke up a little boy. Physically, he's grown so much and is rocking his new big boy haircut. He's talking up a storm and running (his little vertical run is just my favorite thing!) He is constantly making us laugh and is also very much pushing some boundaries, especially in the snack arena. If he could eat donuts and Cheese Its for every meal he would be very happy.

Matty is our little chunk. He is a very smiley baby and often does great out on the go. He's quite patient with me as I am trying my best to juggle both him and Robert. Recently he's been struggling with reflux which has made him quite sad between 5:15-7pm (his new witching hour) but he still sleeps great at night and wakes up happy, so we feel very grateful for that.

Here are some sweet recent memories I don't want to forget...

Robert's love of cars! Also his smile and how he loves to dress Bear Bear in his shirts.

Sweet friends and CW! Oh how we love Colonial Williamsburg. The "sheeps" and "horseys" and the "ladder"... Robert LOVES them all. He is always asking "pet them?"

Sweet moments with Dada! Couch cuddles, watching football, building forts, riding bikes... the boys love their Dada so much. Robert has started to call him Daddy now, which is cute.

Robert's love of donuts! He and I had a Mommy/Robert date. We went out for a donut and then went to play at the Bounce House. His favorite thing at the Bounce House was the race car. We didn't put in any money but he still loved simply sitting in it. He still asks (daily) to look at the picture of him sitting in the race car.

Robert's four favorite stuff animals at the moment: Papa Bear, Bear Bear & Dragon. Not pictured: Mickey Mouse.

Puddle jumping! Robert loves going out in his rain boots (or any shoes... nothing stopping him) and jumping/running in the rain puddles. It's been a fun after nap activity every time it rains.
