We had a wonderful long weekend with Gaby! We went on neighborhood walks, played ice cream shop at the playground, read books, played in the basement, enjoyed delicious food (thank you Gaby), and simply had the best time!
Robert loved playing on the horsey in the basement. We spent a lot of time playing downstairs and Robert even found a new favorite show- Blaze and the Monster Machines.
We brought Robert's scooter with us. He is doing a great job. He's still working on steering but overall has improved a lot over the last few months. He's not loving it but the more he rides, the more he seems to enjoy it. At the playground Robert loved climbing up... everything. Gaby and I had fun playing ice cream shop with him and even saw three F-16's fly over one day which made us all very happy.
Gaby made a very yummy blueberry monkey cake with cream cheese frosting. Robert loved that as well as loved eating baked beans, corn, raspberries, and Gaby's guac.
Matty also enjoyed his food mainly peanut butter on his wafers.
Matty's sitting up on his own got better while we were there.
The boys slept great! I very much enjoyed reading and have a mid-day corona during their afternoon nap each day. It was a real treat! So was the ice cream Gaby got us, the amazing dinners and relaxing by the fire pit each night once the boys went to sleep.
