March Recap 2023

Robert was invited to his friend Eloise's birthday party at a fire station. He was SO excited! He got to climb the ladder and even "drive" the fire truck.

This month we have loved walking over to the Greenspring Trail. We call it the nature trail. Robert loves looking for the geese, turtles, deer, polar bears, and lions while we're out exploring. Yes.... polar bears and lions, haha. Robert always says he hopes we see polar bears and lions out on the trail. I mentioned alligators the other day and he said "no, alligators scary"

Most days once Rob gets off from work we take a family walk. Some days we make it all the way to the playground and other days we just enjoy an exploratory stroll led by Robert. Matty is enjoying riding along in his carrier.

We had fun this month with friends in Colonial Williamsburg, at church and at the Virginia Living Museum.

The weather has been a bit wacky and this day ended up being so much hotter than I expected, so Robert had to strip down into his in CW while admiring the baby lambs, haha.

St. Patty's Day 2023

Matthew hanging with his buddies at church one Sunday.

One night in the cul-de-sac one of our neighbors brought out his huge tub of cars. Robert sat there for close to an hour looking through them all. He loved it!

Gaby came for Robert's birthday weekend! We had a great time reading books, eating delicious brats over at Chris & Katie's house and simply being together. We love when Gaby is here with us!!

Robert has started to "dribble" and play basketball with the basketball hoop we have in our playroom.

Matthew's first time reading "Wiggle Waggle" (one of Robert's favorites). Matthew thought it was  pretty fun too!

Mama and Matty being silly.

Daddy and Robert building a car garage on Saturday morning.

Brother hugs!

Bath time!

My friends Liza and Molly were so kind and drove down from Richmond for a Mexican dinner out with me. It was so wonderful to eat out and catch up with old/best friends!

Sweet Matthew... this was his first time wearing jeans and shoes.

Julie came over to play with us one morning. Robert was so tickled when she showed him leprechaun money. He thought it was so silly (and tasty!)

Robert and I had a great time at the library one afternoon. It was literally empty! He wanted to check out his own books this time. It was super sweet!

Outside practicing with his new birthday scooter.

Matthew is starting to eat solids. He really loves bananas!
